Assn #44 on M 3/17, Due Tu 3/18 (end of class): "Point of View - Should the US have dropped the Atomic Bomb on Japan?" It is an activity that opens in McGraw-Hill. It has 3 digital pages of reading, then a page of interactive questions (but do the answers to the questions on paper instead of online). Read the information page, then the next two pages with the opposing opinions from the President and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Lastly, use notebook paper to answer the questions on the 4th page.
--> To view it: Use Clever to open McGraw-Hill. In McGraw-Hill, look on the left side of the dashboard for the "Assignments" link button. There you'll find "Point of View - Should the US have dropped the Atomic Bomb on Japan?" Assn #23 & 24 To be given on Tu 10/1: Chapter 1 Test: Letter Choice Sections & Essay Section. The test is assigned online in McGraw-Hill and can be found under today's date in the Calendar Section of the Dashboard page of our online curriculum (opened using the McGraw Icon on the Clever page), students take the quiz using their Chromebooks, but are allowed to use their handwritten lesson notes and study guides to help answer the questions (Spanish speaking students have the online test assigned en Español).
For Monday 9/30: Spend an additional day preparing the Study Guide for the Chapter Test posted in Google Classroom. The Chapter Test will be given to all students tomorrow using Chromebooks
